Iron Chef: Family Edition

Our family loves to cook, eat, and talk about food. We all share the same passion for culinary excellence, thus my sister had a brilliant idea–a family cooking showdown. We call it the “Iron Chef: Family Edition.” First season was a success! Our team won and guess who received the “Iron chef” title? *ahem*

And since we all love a healthy (and mouthwatering) competition we are doing it again! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Iron Chef Season 2 is coming this January!

Jolly time of the year

Ahhh yes, Christmas, my favorite time of the year.

I don’t know in your side of the world but, nowadays, Christmas here in the Manila can be a bit stressful: Dozens of Christmas parties to attend/organize, gifts you need to buy and wrap, the influx of people inside the malls (because of the sales), the traffic, the crowd, the long lines, and whatnots. ek~

Yes Christmas can be stressful, but instead of mulling over my holiday dilemmas I’d rather count my blessings and be grateful—I can still celebrate Christmas with my family and friends. Not to mention I can still buy gifts because of the 13^th month and the bonus (hopefully) I’ll receive this year. Yahoo!

Since stress is inevitable in this time of the year I did some Christmas-y artworks to unwind while drinking a gargantuan mug of hot cocoa and listening to some good ol’ Filipino Christmas songs by Mr. Ryan Cayabyab.
